Did you hear?

 Did you

hear

the whisper

of the night clouds

as a star

broke

into tiny splinters

and miniscule particles

lit up the path

across the universe?

Did you see

a shadow

fall over the sun

as he noted

the fallen star

in his little

flaming diary?

Did you hear

a zillion

silent screams

contained

in a fraction

of a second

as the earth

disappeared

into a deep dark

tunnel..

A black hole

One catastrophic second

as the world

gave way

under the

mounting pressures

of sin..
